Mats Priority Freight Systems has been serving the distribution and consolidation needs of the large and small companies for over three decades. They handle the supply chain for containers of any size (ocean or air) between Chicago O’Hare and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airports. After receiving an above market offer from their current Landlord, SCGroup Real Estate was retained to evaluate alternatives in the O’Hare market. When no suitable options were identified (due to an abnormally high ratio of dock doors to square footage), we addressed certain physical issues with their current facility and negotiated a 5 year renewal. We were successful in getting the Landlord to drop the rate from $110,000 per year (initial offer) to less than $70,000.
