Recycle Processes Inc. developed a new process to cost efficiently compact and densify recycled tire wire for resale to steel producers – a significant innovation in this industry. It was searching for its initial location in which to conduct business. Key factors included a location near a key customer, minimum ceiling height of 25 feet in order to accommodate machinery and ability to expand as the business grew. Our initial search eliminated all existing product in the target market (primarily due to lack of suitable ceiling height). Ultimately we identified a piece of land and negotiated a four-way sharia compliant transaction (local community – owner of land, equity partner, bank and our client). Recycle Process Inc.’s business has flourished and they are in the process of planning to expand the facility.
